The Electrobike set a new world record at
the Bonneville Salt Flats on September 7, 2007

Electric vehicles help
reduce global warming!

The Electrobike
left Bonneville on September 7th owning the outright AMA land speed record in the United States for an electric powered motorcycle.

The speed averaged over two combined runs, was 64.5 mph. The bike was easily capable of 90 mph, but the salt and weather conditions made additional attempts impossible.

Considering the standing record of three years was 22 mph and considering the Electrobike weighed 63 kilograms (in a field of bikes weighing in as much as 450 kilograms) this accomplishment is all the more impressive.
