Sevcon, one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of controls for zero-emission electric and hybrid vehicles, is exhibiting at the largest global agricultural event, Agritechnica, from 12th to 16th November in Hanover, Germany in Hall 1, Booth F105.
With more than 50 years of experience in mobile electric motor control applications, Sevcon is uniquely placed to provide solutions to the agricultural market for electrification and electric drives. The company will be exhibiting its existing portfolio of motor controllers (inverters) and accessories, as well as brand new inverters designed for Implement Electrification, to help make system design easier and to help make electric implements much more cost effective.
Sevcon's Gen4 Size 10 motor controller is an ideal solution for the main motor generator control and the new 700VDC 3-20kW Inverters are designed for implements and high current cabin loads. On the stand will be its liquid-cooled and air-cooled HVLP-5, HVLP-20 and HVLP-T high-voltage low-power inverters.
"I am thrilled to launch our high-voltage low-power Implement Inverters at Agritechnica this year", said Mike Dowsett, Vice President Business Development at Sevcon. "We believe the Implement industry has been waiting for these and that our HVLP Inverters will help make Implement Electrification more affordable and speed-up this new architecture going into production. They are the perfect products to complement our Gen4 Size 10 motor controller, which is already used as the main tractor generator controller".
